Qatar Airways has just published its new partnership with Novak Djokovic. The tennis legend will be taking on the role of the airline’s Global Brand Ambassador as well as Wellness Advisor.

Tennis Star Looks to the Skies

The Serbian athlete is regarded as one of the best tennis tennis players worldwide. Having won 24 grand slam titles and ranked number one in the world for 428 weeks, Djokovic’s achievements fall nothing short of magnificent. For Qatar Airways, having been voted the Worlds Best Airline in 2024 by Skytrax, these two are both leading globally in their selected fields. Therefore, these two are compatible in their achievements and well fit to collaborate. Qatar Airways CEO, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer commented:

We are thrilled to welcome Novak Djokovic to the Qatar Airways family. Novak’s extraordinary career, defined by record-breaking achievements and an unrelenting drive to succeed, mirrors our own commitment to excellence.

Qatar ExxonMobil Open and Wellness Technology

In order to elevate the status of Qatar’s national tennis tournament, also named the ATP Qatar Open, this partnership will also be advantageous in bringing global attention to Qatar as a tennis influence as Qatar will have the support of Djokovic. Also, Novak Djokovic’s patented “Regenesis” technology will be a large focus within this partnership. As a Wellness Advisor to Qatar Airways, he will be showcasing his innovative technology in sports recovery and wellness, which could be beneficial for those travelling on long-haul flights.

This partnership adds to Qatar Airways extensive repertoire of global sports sponsorships. Other partners include FIFA, Paris Saint-Germain and Formula 1® to name a few.
