Qatar Airways and Air Algérie have entered into an exciting new codeshare partnership that will expand travel options between Algeria and major destinations in the Middle East and Asia. The agreement, which takes effect for travel beginning 15 November 2025, aims to streamline passenger journeys through Doha’s Hamad International Airport, a global aviation hub renowned for its award-winning service and efficiency.
Broader Networks and Seamless Travel Experiences
Through this collaboration, passengers of both airlines will gain access to an extended network of destinations. Travellers flying with Qatar Airways will enjoy easier connections to Algiers and several cities across Algeria, including Oran, Constantine, Annaba, Tamanrasset, Timimoun, and Tindouf. Members of the Qatar Airways Privilege Club will also earn Avios when traveling on eligible Air Algérie flights.
Meanwhile, Air Algérie customers can now connect to popular destinations in Asia and the Gulf, such as Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, and Muscat, via Doha. The two carriers plan to expand their shared routes in the coming months, further improving accessibility between Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

Leaders from both airlines highlighted that the codeshare agreement represents a strategic step toward building stronger regional ties and supporting future growth. For Qatar Airways, the deal reinforces its expanding presence across African markets, while for Air Algérie, it opens new pathways for international expansion and tourism development.
