Plaza Premium Group has announced the opening of Plaza Premium Lounge at Langkawi International Airport in Langkawi, Kedah. The facility replaces the previous lounge within the airport, offering increased capacity and updated amenities for travellers.
Expanded facilities and accessibility
The newly relocated lounge by Plaza Premium Group at Langkawi International Airport is positioned landside, making it accessible to both arriving and departing passengers.
As the only airport lounge at Langkawi International Airport, the upgraded facility now accommodates 63 guests, reflecting an increase in capacity compared to the previous facility. The lounge includes general seating areas as well as a private dining section, allowing passengers to eat, rest, work, or recharge before or after their journey. Access starts from 118 Malaysian ringgit (RM) for a one-hour stay, making the experience both flexible and accessible.
Local elements and opening offer
The lounge incorporates local elements through Plaza Premium Group’s “Proudly Local” campaign. Menu offerings include regional dishes such as Spicy Chicken Langkawi Luxe with Trio Sambal, inspired by regional flavours.
The opening also forms part of the group’s “Your Destination Before Departure” concept, which introduces destination-specific features across its global lounge network.
To mark the launch, passengers can take advantage of a limited-time promotion, with complimentary access for one additional guest included with the purchase of one lounge entry. The offer is valid until June 7, 2026.
