Malindo Air is Flying to “The Green City” Nanning, China

Petaling Jaya – Malindo Air has introduced its new services from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Penang International Airport to Nanning from 18 August 2018, flying twice weekly.

Promotional fare is offered at USD146 (RM599) for Economy Class and USD268 (RM1,099) for Business Class one way from Kuala Lumpur, whereas the fare from Penang is USD98 (RM400) for Economy Class and USD219 (RM899) for Business Class.

Flights OD2100 from KLIA is scheduled to depart at 1745hrs and will arrive in Penang at 1845hrs. OD0696 will depart from Penang at 1945hrs for 3 hour and 15 minutes journey and is estimated to arrive Nanning at 2300hrs.

The returning flight from Nanning OD0697 is scheduled to depart on the following day at 0005hrs and arrive in Penang at 0320hrs. For passengers who are returning to KLIA, flight OD2111 will depart from Penang at 0430hrs and is scheduled to arrive at 0530hrs. The narrow-body Boeing 737NG aircraft, comprising of 12 Business Class and 150 Economy Class seats, is deployed on this route.

“We have been receiving great responses for our flights to China between a few key cities in Malaysia, i.e. Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Langkawi, Johor Bahru and Kota Kinabalu. Nanning represents the 8th city that we fly to from Malaysia to China. Our flight from Kota Kinabalu to Nanning has begun on 13 Aug 2018. We are kicking off flights from Kuala Lumpur and Penang twice weekly and we are anticipating higher demand to urge for more frequencies in the near future.” Said Chandran Rama Muthy, CEO of Malindo Air.

“Aside from our continuous effort to expand our route network, we aim to bring in more passengers to Malaysia to support the growth of the local travel industry as well. This new service will also promote multiple cities of Malaysia and encourage travelers to travel beyond their arriving city,” he added.

Passengers will enjoy 25kg baggage allowance for Economy Class and 40kg for Business Class, meal onboard and spacious legroom for flying with Malindo Air.
Nanning is the capital of Guangxi region, located near the border with Vietnam. The city is named the green city for its verdant tropical greenery and recreation. It also offers vibrant dining and shopping that reflects the diverse culture of this beautiful city.
