Future On-board Experience (FOX) has launched as Lufthansa’s newest premium onboard experience in first class on March 29, 2026. FOX has been developed over the last two years and is a thoughtful investment in Lufthansa’s onboard customer experience.

A refined culinary journey in FOX’s First Class

FOX treats its passengers with a varied gourmet breakfast and a distinct beverage menu which includes long drinks, mocktails and signature cocktails. Two-Michelin-starred chef, Christoph Kunz, a defining voice of contemporary and creative haute cuisine, devises the premium dining experience.

With FOX, first class travellers enjoy a curated selection of smaller courses, consisting of trilogies for the amuse-bouche, the appetiser, and the dessert. For the main course, passengers can opt between a single dish and a tasting menu.

Besides the FOX menus, guests will continue to enjoy the popular caviar service served with lemon, egg, shallot and crème fraîche, a Lufthansa “signature moment” since the introduction of first class. Blinis are also going to be served traditionally on a mother-of-pearl spoon.

Lufthansa is also offering its first class FOX guests a more premium champagne selection. For the first time, the airline is serving the exclusive Prestige cuvée La Grande Dame from Veuve Clicquot.

Elevated comfort with premium amenities

Beyond dining, Lufthansa enhances its Future On-board Experience first class offering with carefully curated luxury services.

The airline introduces an innovative amenity concept in collaboration with BABOR, allowing passengers to select personalised skincare and cosmetic products tailored to their needs, delivered directly to their seats by the crew.

Starting in May 2026, guests can also experience FOX in business, premium economy, and economy class.

What do you think of Lufthansa’s newest addition to its First Class? Is FOX going to attract more travellers? Let us know in the comments below!
