A Carpatair Fokker 100 on behalf of KLM had a navigation computer failure. Registered as YR-FZA, performing flight KL-1779 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Hamburg (Germany), was climbing out of Amsterdam’s runway 24 when the crew requested to stop the climb at FL060 due to the failure of a navigation computer.

The aircraft returned to Amsterdam’s runway 36L for a safe landing about 25 minutes after departure.

A replacement KLM Cityhopper Embraer ERJ-190 registration PH-EZU reached Hamburg with a delay of 3 hours.
