IndiGo and IDFC FIRST Bank have released a co-branded credit card

IndiGo partners with IDFC FIRST Bank for the launch of its IndiGo IDFC FIRST Credit Card, offering customers payment flexibility, as it provides them the benefits of both Mastercard and RuPay networks through a single application.

IndiGo IDFC Credit Card

IndiGo stated that the partnership reflects a shared commitment that delivers value and convenience to its travellers. The airline added that the card enhances travel experiences with lifestyle privileges, low forex markup, trip cancellation insurance, and accelerated rewards on the airline’s flight bookings, this includes milestone spends and everyday purchases.

The partnership also complements IndiGo BluChips loyalty program, as it offers customers more ways to earn BluChips through everyday spends. IndiGo stated that the IDFC FIRST Credit Card has been designed to offer unmatched accessibility with an FD-backed option.

About IndiGo and IDFC FIRST Bank

IDFC FIRST Bank recently emerged in India with the aim of building a world-class bank in the country. Despite its recent emergence, the bank has 35.5 million live customers and deals with Ethical, Digital, and Social Good Banking. It has a customer deposit base worth 2,56,799 (crore rupees) which is about £22.65 billion. It has loans and advances worth 2,53,233 (crore rupees), about £22.26 billion. The bank was established in 2015 as IDFC Bank, but merged with Capital First Limited on Dec. 18, 2018, before officially becoming IDFC FIRST Bank Limited in January 2019.

With over 400 aircraft operating more than 90 domestic routes and over 40 international destinations, IndiGo is one of the fast-growing carriers named the Best Airline in India and South Asia by Skytrax at the World Airline Awards 2025. Based in Gurugram, the airline was founded in August 2006 and aims to offer affordable fares to its travellers. IndiGo has taken several initiatives to expand its global network, it expanded its routes from Mumbai to two Central Asian cities, and before that, it expanded its route to Manchester and Amsterdam.
