IndiGo adjusts its long-haul network through schedule revisions due to ongoing airspace constraints and airport traffic congestion in India and abroad.

IndiGo Adjusts Long-Haul Network Following Airspace Constraints
IndiGo’s wide-body operations and long-haul networks have been affected by external operational constraints, such as congestion and a constantly changing airspace.
Geopolitical circumstances beyond the airline’s control caused delays and cancellations across its 787-9 schedule, including six wide-body connections.
In 2025, IndiGo launched a wide-body project as part of its internationalisation efforts, which included six wide-body aircraft on a dry-lease agreement with the airline. Since the project began, several significant developments have led the airline to revise its network schedule across India and abroad.
Misconnections and delays have increased significantly as geopolitical tensions and congestion have risen.

IndiGo Announces Schedule Revisions Following Operational Delays and Misconnections
Amid external circumstances, IndiGo announces its mission to make travel seamless and convenient again for customers, following ongoing constraints.
The revisions include:
- Operations to and from Copenhagen will be suspended until further notice from Feb. 17, 2026.
- A reduction in the Delhi-Manchester service will commence on Feb. 7, 2026. Services will run 4 flights per week, down from 3 per week, from Feb. 19 to reduce total connectivity.
- Operation schedules will change, so flight departures will be served at different times to optimise availability.
- The Delhi-London Heathrow services will commence on the 4x-weekly winter schedule this summer.
With their proactive approach to keeping customer experience at the heart of their goals, IndiGo will continue to reach out to affected customers to amend their schedules.
