On 15th October, in honour of the release of ‘Moana 2’ from Walt Disney Studios, Hawaiian Airlines unveiled a thematic flight collaboration based on the film. The campaign’s goal is not only to increase interest in the ‘Moana’ film sequel, but to celebrate the rich Polynesian culture taken as the basis of the film. For passengers, it is sure to be an exciting experience. They can immerse themselves in cultural heritage, feel the bright spirit of Polynesia and see the amazing landscapes that inspired the film’s plot and characters.

The interior of the Airbus 330 is entirely dedicated to replicating the atmosphere of the film ‘Moana 2’. The exterior is custom decorated with images from the film featuring favourite characters, tropical motifs and visual effects reflecting the Polynesian style. Crew members will dress in uniforms inspired by the character’s style. Passengers will experience  exclusive entertainment such as behind-the-scenes content and movie previews. The creative design of the aircraft and unique leisure options for passengers on board reflect the essence of Hawaiian Airlines and are reminiscent of the celebration of the Polynesian islands in ‘Moana 2′. Exclusive Offers for Passengers

During the ‘Moana 2’ thematic flight Hawaiian Airlines will provide passengers with several exclusive offers. The thematic meals, reflecting the tastes of Polynesian cuisine, successfully support the film’s concept. Limited edition ‘Moana’ merchandise such as memorabilia and keepsakes are also available on board. In addition, the exclusive impressions are accompanied by interactive events for families with children. The Moana adventure-themed storytelling and Polynesian-inspired crafts are sure to create an unforgettable flying experience for all ages. It will also connect passengers with the spirit of Polynesia and improve the travel experience by showcasing cultural elements. Thus Hawaiian Airlines has again highlighted its commitment to promoting authentic island experiences.

Hawaiian Culture and Values

Hawaiian Airlines has long aimed to globally celebrate its Polynesian cultural heritage and share it with travellers. The thematic flight dedicated to the film ‘Moana 2′ and other partnerships have helped to preserve and promote Hawaiian values. Cultural events and educational programmes support the airlines’ mission to popularise Hawaiian traditions and language. This initiative reflects Hawaiian Airlines’ commitment to a true vision of culture. Their central service philosophy is the connection with the community and the Hawaiian concept of ‘Aloha’. The translation of this word is ‘love’ or ‘affection’. The airline uses customised programmes to reflect and cultivate its principles in exciting ways.
