First flight with A321LR

Etihad Airways has initiated the first use of its A321LR aircraft from Zayed International Airport to Phuket, flight number EY414. According to the airline, this marks the introduction of an aircraft designed to deliver Etihad’s premium cabin standards on short-haul and medium-haul destinations.

The flight welcomes guests to the airline’s latest cabin innovation, which was designed to deliver the same elevated service that defines its award-winning wide-body experience. The airline took delivery of 30 A321LRs in July 2025, designed to provide elevated comfort, a redefined design, and high-speed Wi-Fi across its cabins. Arik De, Etihad Airways’ chief revenue and commercial officer, described the A321LR as a reflection of the airline’s commitment to providing exceptional experiences across all its routes.
