Etihad Airways has announced seven new routes to the Gulf, Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia, enhancing connections to Abu Dhabi.

About the route development of Etihad Airways
Etihad Airways, the United Arab Emirates national airline, has announced its expansion of seven routes to offer point-to-point service to Abu Dhabi. The new destinations include Almaty in Kazakhstan, Baku in Azerbaijan, Bucharest in Romania, Medina in Saudi Arabia, Tbilisi in Georgia, Tashkent in Uzbekistan, and Yerevan in Armenia.
The flights will be opened to the market in the next couple of days. Most of the services will begin in Mar 2026. Flights to Medina, in particular, will offer service from Nov 2025.
Remarkably, including these seven routes, the airline has announced 27 new routes in 2025, including year-round routes and seasonal services.
Earlier this year, Etihad Airways has already celebrated four new routes to Prague, Warsaw, Sochi and Atlanta, and planned to add 13 more routes by the end of 2025.
A few days ago, the airline also announced its summer schedule for 2026. The operator will offer flights to Krakow, Salalah, and Kazan during the peak season.
