Ethiopian Airlines Welcomes Two A350 Aircraft

On 8th November 2020, Ethiopian Airlines announced the arrival of two Airbus A350 aircraft increasing the number of aircraft in their fleet total. The airline confirmed the delivery through its Twitter account.

“We have taken delivery of 2 brand new A350 aircraft on the same day, we have also donated humanitarian medical equipment brought onboard the delivery flight of these brand-new aircraft to Ethiopian Ministry of Health at a grand event held today at ET Cargo and Logistics Services.” –@flyethiopian posted.

The public expressed mixed reactions to the announcement. However,  some congratulated the airline upon its new investment.

The Airbus on its Twitter account also posted and said, ”It’s a double delivery day! We are pleased to see two #A350 joining @flyethiopian’s fleet today. It’s also an opportunity to carry as much needed humanitarian goods in cooperation with the @Airbus Fdn.”

According to the Airbus Foundation, @Airbus Fdn, 4.97T of medical and IT equipment were onboard. The Ethiopian Airlines Foundation and the Pablo Horstmann Foundation pediatric clinic, in Maki, will receive the relief items.

We congratulate Ethiopian Airlines upon its acquisition of two brand new A350 aircraft.
