Emirates and flydubai loyalty programme Emirates Skywards has rolled out an exclusive offer which aims to help the programme’s members fast-track their status to a higher tier.

According to Emirates, existing members or new members that join the programme before 30 June can automatically earn double Tier Miles on all Emirates and flydubai flights booked from 1 April to 30 June for travel between 1 April and 30 December this year, resulting in members moving up tiers faster and unlocking more benefits and rewards.

All tickets included in the deal

Emirates has stated that the offer applies to all Emirates and flydubai tickets that have been purchased during the offer period, regardless of fare types. The loyalty programme, which has more than 27 million members worldwide, has four tiers of membership which are Blue, Silver, Gold and Platinum. The different tiers offer members a wide range of privileges such as lounge access, priority boarding, dedicated check-in counters and complimentary seat-selection.

Transatlantic links resumed

Emirates is gradually restarting operations across its global network. The carrier announced on 31 March that it will be continuing its direct service between Milan Malpensa and New York JFK International Airport from 1 June which will be an extension to its existing Milan flight, EK205.  Emirates recently also resumed services to 11 gateways in the United States, including Orlando and Newark.

The carrier is set to operate a special flight on 10 April carrying only vaccinated crew and passengers to celebrate the United Arab Emirates’ progress when it comes to its vaccination programme. Over eight million vaccines have been administered in the UAE so far. The flight will depart from Dubai International Airport, flying over the UAE, and tickets will be available to UAE citizens and residents who have completed the two weeks after their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
