Emirates SkyCargo, the logistics division of The Emirates Group, is transporting British exports from a range of sectors, including engineering, seasonal produce and pharmaceuticals. Emirates, through its cargo operations, has transported over 57,000 tonnes of exports from the UK during the Financial Year 2025-26 according to company reporting. Emirates has seen exports from the UK growing at 7% from April to June 2026.
Emirates transports aerospace and advanced technologies
The UK is one of the global leaders in the aerospace industry and is highly supportive of technological innovation. This can be demonstrated by Emirates SkyCargo’s productivity between January and June 2026, during which the company transported over 570 tonnes of aircraft parts and aerospace components from the UK to the rest of the world.
Emirates SkyCargo’s services within the Aerospace and Engineering vertical, AOG, increased by more than 300% between January and June 2026, highlighting the airline’s logistical strengths.
Beyond aerospace, Emirates has focused on important technology infrastructure and successfully transported data centre equipment from the UK to global markets. To this end, airports in Manchester and London serve as engineering and manufacturing hubs and link British products with other countries through Emirates services.
Emirates transports food and perishables
During the first half of 2026, Emirates SkyCargo has helped British farmers export their products to the global market; over 1500 tonnes of Scottish shellfish and over 1200 tonnes of smoked salmon were transported over this time period. In addition, 250 tonnes of strawberries and more than 150 tonnes of cheese were also transported to Dubai from the UK. This has contributed to Emirates’ commitment to British farmers and established stronger trade links between the UK and Dubai.
With the launch of Emirates Fresh, Emirates has dedicated itself to the transportation of food and perishables. As such, food items as diverse as fruit, meat, seafood and vegetables are stored securely throughout transportation.
