Emirates is celebrating the return of The Championships, Wimbledon, with a range of exclusive experiences for passengers and tennis fans both on board and on the ground. As the tournament’s Official Airline Partner, the airline is offering themed dining, live match coverage, and interactive activities throughout the event from June 29 to July 12.
Wimbledon-inspired dining takes to the skies
Passengers travelling between Dubai and the UK during the tournament can enjoy Wimbledon-themed menus across every cabin. The iconic British strawberry features prominently in desserts, with First Class guests receiving honey cake with strawberry compote and clotted cream, while Business Class and Premium Economy passengers can enjoy a strawberry tart with pistachio sauce and strawberry yoghurt. Economy Class customers will be served a cream cheese mousse topped with strawberry compote and hazelnut streusel.
On board the A380, travellers can also enjoy traditional strawberries and cream, a refreshing Pimm’s cocktail, and tennis-themed pastries in the Onboard Lounge. Emirates Lounges in Dubai and across the UK are joining the celebrations with British favourites including fish and chips and coronation chicken.
Sports fans can follow every match live through Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra on the airline’s ice inflight entertainment system. First Class passengers will also receive limited-edition Emirates-branded Wimbledon 2026 towels produced by Christy, the tournament’s official towel supplier.
Emirates brings the action to SW19
Away from the aircraft, Emirates is bringing interactive experiences to spectators attending Wimbledon. Visitors can pose for photos at the dedicated Emirates x Wimbledon backdrop and scan their tickets for the chance to win instant prizes, including a grand prize holiday for two to the Maldives with Emirates Holidays.
Gaming enthusiasts can also compete on virtual Emirates-branded tennis courts and take part in the Emirates Cup at Wimbledon through Roblox, an online gaming platform. Throughout the tournament, Emirates’ cabin crew will also be present on-site, welcoming guests and adding to the event atmosphere.
Emirates continues to strengthen its long-standing commitment to global sport through partnerships across football, rugby, cricket, sailing, cycling, horse racing, and all four Grand Slam tennis tournaments.
