The New Season on ice

Emirates is committed to bringing UAE-made comedy, drama, documentaries and family friendly movies, TV shows and podcasts to its passengers. Dubai+ is now linked to the rest of the ice family, which includes BBC, BBC Earth, BBC News, Bloomsberg, CBeebies, CNN, Disney+, HBO MAX, Nickelodeon, Sky News Arabia, Sport 24 and Spotify.

The new season will also feature ice Opera House, a collection of complete ballet, opera and classical concerts, along with new movies and TV shows. This includes productions from The Royal Opera, The Royal Ballet and New York City Ballet and ice Opera House. Emirates’ Opera collection on ice is frequently updated to add extra performances, and features multiple languages and subtitles for extra accessibility.

Customers can now explore a library exceeding 3,000 movies, including Arabic titles, and thousands of TV episodes and on-demand channels in over 40 languages.

ice is Moving Into The Future

As the technology behind ice continues to evolve,  Emirates says future updates will include 4K and 4K HDR displays. Short-form video content under iceMoments will incorporate eye-comfort mode for long flights, while spatial audio, live TV and children’s programming will be included across the system.

To strengthen its in-flight entertainment and focus on connectivity, Emirates is rapidly adding Starlink Wi-Fi across its fleet, with 55 aircraft now equipped with it. The rollout allows customers to stay connected throughout their flight.

For First Class passengers, Emirates is slowly including Bowers & Wilkins noise-cancelling headphones, which are expected to available across most of its fleet by the end of 2026.
