These include lounges that are elegantly furnished, a selection of local and international cuisine, classic Thai desserts, free Wi-Fi, and shower spas for the ultimate in comfort before one’s flight.
Emirates Bangkok Lounge: Strategic Move to SAT-1 Terminal
Operating from the newly developed SAT-1 Terminal makes Emirates among the very few airlines that enjoy modern facilities put in place to improve the convenience of the passengers in luxury experience. The lounge itself is located on the fourth floor, with access to the boarding gates only a five-minute walk away, smoothing the travel schedule for premium travellers.
Currently, Emirates operates 41 airport lounges worldwide, seven of which are at Dubai International Airport and another 34 throughout the airline’s global network. The expansion in Bangkok underlines Emirates’ commitment to a superior ground experience for its premium customers. Moreover, Emirates has access to various partner lounges in other destinations to complement its customer offering.
Strengthening Operations in Thailand
In 2025, Emirates will celebrate 35 years of service to Thailand, further renewing its commitment to this very vibrant Southeast Asian market. Presently, the airline operates five daily flights between Dubai and Bangkok, deploying its Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s. Additionally, it also flies twice daily into the resort destination of Phuket, with a daily nonstop service between Bangkok and Hong Kong.
This will see international lounge offering over 870 premium cabin seats a day between Bangkok and its global network, cementing the airline’s position as the leading international carrier for premium travel. The exceptional demand for first- and business-class travel has seen the pressure on to further develop its lounge facilities to enable the airline to seamlessly serve premium passengers.
