Dubai-based Emirates and dnata, an airport services provider, have joined forces with local non-profit agencies to deliver reconditioned strollers to children in need. Local associations Hope Amel UAE, Senses and Al Noor have distributed the strollers to a range of recipients, including single mothers and educational institutions.

Community Effort

In December 2025, the airline bought 1,000 new strollers for customers to use whilst travelling through Dubai International Airport (DXB), freeing up 430 older models which were repurposed by the Emirates engineering team. Dnata4good, a staff-led volunteering initiative, then chose three local non-profit agencies, Hope Amel UAE, Senses and Al Noor, to donate the strollers to.

Before they were handed over, the Emirates Airport Services team cleaned and sanitised each stroller.

Dnata4good

Dnata, originally known as the Dubai National Air Travel Agency, was founded in Dubai in 1959. The air and travel services provider offers a wide range of services, including ground handling, cargo, travel, catering, and retail. Both the airline Emirates and dnata are owned by the parent company, The Emirates Group.

Dnata4good is employee-led and aims to give back to the community in which it operates. Focusing on community, environment, and well-being, dnata4good encourages thousands of staff members globally to volunteer and fundraise.
