EME Aero Expansion

With an investment of over $37 million by EME Aero and its shareholders, the expanded facility is expected to service over 500 engines per year starting from 2028. Since it began operations, the company has grown to become one of the leading GTF engine MRO providers worldwide in five years and continues to grow, marking its fifth year of operations in 2024. in December 2024. Michael Schreyögg said:

“EME Aero is an efficient, reliable and expert member of the GTF MRO family. This is an excellent further step in expanding capabilities and continuing to support operators and customers long-term as the in-service fleet continues to grow. As demonstrated by the strong order volume recently at the Paris Air Show, there is great market demand for this newest generation of engines. In total, over 12,000 GTF engine orders and commitments have been placed with Pratt & Whitney by more than 90 customers globally to date, of which nearly 1,100 this year alone.”
