Deutsche Aircraft celebrated the opening of its new office at the historic Römischer Hof on Unter den Linden in Berlin. The celebration took place on 8 July 2025. The manufacturing company is currently strengthening its role as a leading German original equipment manufacturer (OEM) in the aviation sector. To achieve this, they have been focusing on expanding their presence in Germany.

New Office in Berlin

The new office in Berlin will serve as a central point of contact for partnerships, political cooperation, and joint dialogue, helping the company in its commitment to shape a sustainable and resilient aviation strategy for the Federal Republic.

Nico Neumann, chief executive officer at Deutsche Aircraft, commented that Deutsche Aircraft goes beyond the traditional civil use of the D328eco. Neumann said that:

“With the opening of our new office in the political centre of Germany, we intend to have a more active role in shaping the Federal Republic’s aviation strategy. With our D328MR (Multi-Role) variant, we are developing resilient and sustainable solutions for urgent needs, ranging from reconnaissance capabilities to medical transport.”

The D328MR is expected to be able to continuously collect and analyse reliable data in a demanding and hostile environment as it is designed specifically for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. With the manufacture now in Berlin, it is much closer to future partnerships in areas of climate protection, industrial value creation, and sovereignty. This also includes several institutions that could prove to be a research point and may provide specialist employees.

The Berlin office complements the two main locations:

Following the new office is the successful rollout of the TAC 1, Deutsche Aircraft’s first D328eco test aircraft, which was introduced on 28 May 2025. The Berlin office serves as a valuable addition to our primary locations in Oberpfaffenhofen Air Tech Campus and Leipzig. Oberpfaffenhofen serves as a research centre and plays a lead role in the technical implementation of the D328eco program. Its proximity to leading aerospace suppliers and universities makes it an ideal location for the German aviation industry. Leipzig is currently being developed into an important hub for industrial production and supply chains, which is why the company is using the location to build up its production capacity.

Could this new location benefit Deutsche Aircraft in achieving its sustainable aviation goals? Leave your comments below.
