Delta flight makes emergency landing in Tokyo

A Delta Air Lines plane flying from Shanghai to Seattle made an emergency landing in the Japanese capital on Sunday, September 23, for an equipment check, a Delta customer service representative said.

Delta Flight 588, a Boeing 767-300ER, landed at Narita, she said, without elaborating on the checks or giving further details.

A spokesperson for Delta in the United States was not immediately available for comment.
