Delta Air Lines has extended the suspension of several flights to and from Tel Aviv as the ongoing regional conflict continues to disrupt aviation operations.

JFK–TLV Suspension Extended
The airline confirmed that flights from New York John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) will remain suspended through March 31. Return services from TLV to JFK are paused through April 1.
Delta said affected flights will be processed in its system on March 14. Customers with impacted bookings will receive cancellation notifications through the Delta mobile app and the contact details linked to their reservation.
The airline has advised customers to visit delta.com or use the Delta app to review rebooking options and modify their itineraries.

Atlanta Route Restart Delayed
Delta has also postponed the planned restart of its Atlanta (ATL) to Tel Aviv route. Flights from ATL to TLV are now suspended through Aug. 4, while return flights from TLV to ATL are paused through Aug. 5.
The airline said the decision reflects continued operational and security considerations in the region. Several international carriers have maintained similar pauses to services to Israel in recent months.
To support passengers with disrupted travel plans, Delta has issued a travel waiver covering itineraries involving TLV through April 30. The waiver allows flexible rebooking options and refunds for the unflown portion of tickets.

Alternative Routes Remain Available
Despite the suspension of direct services, travellers can still reach Tel Aviv using connecting itineraries. European and Middle Eastern hubs such as London, Paris and Istanbul continue to serve as major transit points for journeys to Israel.
While these routes typically take longer than direct transatlantic flights, they remain a viable option for passengers needing to travel to the region.
Delta said it will continue to monitor the situation and adjust its schedule as conditions evolve.
