Delta Air Lines will launch a new route between Texas’ Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) and Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) from March 27, 2027, as part of a transatlantic joint venture partnership between the airline, Virgin Atlantic and Air France-KLM. The new nonstop Austin-Paris flights will be Delta’s first transatlantic route from Austin and will make it the only U.S. airline offering nonstop service between Austin and Europe.

Austin to Paris

The new flights from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport to Paris-Charles de Gaulle will be served by Airbus A330-900 aircraft, a wide-body jet that on this route will be configured with 281 seats across four cabins.

The nonstop Austin-Paris flights will feature four seat options, with the most luxurious Delta One plan offering luxury bedding, food and drink options, and privacy doors; Delta Premium Select with additional legroom and wider seats; and Delta Comfort and Delta Main plans.

Joe Esposito, Delta Air Lines‘ executive vice president and chief commercial officer said:

“Launching Austin’s first nonstop service to Paris is a defining milestone, but it’s just one part of our broader investment in the region. From expanded domestic flying to strong international connectivity through our partnership with Air France-KLM, we’re making it easier than ever for customers to connect from Central Texas to destinations around the world.”

Delta partners up with Air France-KLM

The new route between Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport is far from the only product of the Joint venture between Delta Air lines, Virgin Atlantic and Air France-KLM, with Delta customers having access to over 70 one-stop global destinations across Europe, India and Africa via Air France and KLM, including KLM’s hub in Amsterdam.

The nonstop Austin-Paris flights are part of a larger planned Delta route expansion in summer 2027, with more domestic American flights and international routes from America to destinations such as Tokyo planned for next summer.

The transatlantic joint venture partnership between Delta Air Lines, Air France-KLM and Virgin Atlantic includes coordinated flight schedules and flexible digital booking services for all transatlantic flights using the respective airlines.
