From May 1, Jet2 passengers can enjoy a Costa-crafted Salted Caramel Latte at 35,000 feet.

British airline Jet2 and Jet2holidays have teamed up with popular coffee chain Costa Coffee to enhance their in-flight refreshments.
Jet2 passengers will be able to choose from a selection of hot drinks, including the classic Latte, Salted Caramel Latte, Cappuccino, Americano as well as Decaf coffee options.
The drinks will be available for Jet2 passengers travelling from all 13 of the airline’s UK airport bases.
Mark Cumming, UK Commercial Director at Costa Coffee said:
“We’re thrilled to be working with Jet2.com and Jet2holidays to bring our much-loved coffee to even more customers in the skies. Whether you’re jetting off for some summer sun or heading on a city escape, you can now sip on the taste of Costa Coffee as you soar towards your destination.”
This follows the airline’s 2022 move to Yorkshire Tea. Announced on Yorkshire Day, Jet2 became the first airline to serve the iconic British tea brand, delivering a “proper brew” to their passengers.

What Coffee do other Airlines Serve?
UK Airlines
Last summer, airline easyJet launched their collaboration with Costa Coffee, serving beverages from the frothy Cappuccino to the energising Americano. Now, both easyJet and Jet2 are partnered with the famous coffee company.
In July 2024, British Airways partnered with Grind coffee, a popular artisan London coffee house. Passengers travelling from Heathrow and Gatwick are able to enjoy the milky sweetness of their Grind Arabica coffee in the skies.
Virgin Atlantic, on the other hand, serves an adventurous blend from the unique enterprise Change Please. The Change Please initiative aims to end homelessness through selling coffee, one cup at a time. The profits from coffee sales go towards training those experiencing homelessness to become baristas – who knew airplane coffee could change lives?

U.S. and Global Airlines
Across the pond, American airline Delta serves fan favourite Starbucks coffee. Alaska Airlines used to offer the same, however due to changes in flavour and taste at altitude, they decided to change to a blend specifically created for in-flight drinking. Alaska now serve coffee from Stumptown, Portland coffee roasters.
Major American airline JetBlue offer the popular Dunkin’ coffee and tea, alongside popular soft drink Pepsi.
Meanwhile, luxury airline Emirates serves over 17 tonnes of coffee each year, working with a range of roasters including Lavazza and Coffee Planet. Emirates and Coffee Planet are also known for crafting exciting seasonal drinks together, such as the rose-kissed mocha for Valentines Day and the orange crush latte for Christmas. Passengers are also able to enjoy traditional Arabic coffee served in a Dallah pot with dates, or a range of traditional Dilmah teas.
As part of Qatar National Day celebrations, Qatar Airways began offering Arabic coffee to Business Class passengers. Served with the traditional Dallah in the left hand and the Finjan in the right alongside Medjool dates, Qatar passengers can enjoy a warm Qatari welcome with the airline’s hot beverages.
