Air Canada has introduced a new range of premium bedding and onboard amenities as part of its efforts to improve comfort for passengers travelling on long haul flights. The updates products, which will be available in the airline’s Signature Class, include redesigned duvets, pillows, mattress pads, amenity kits and loungewear, with the rollout beginning this summer.

New products designed for better rest

The collection has been developed to help passengers rest more comfortably during long journeys. The airline said the range will include premium products and larger pillows as well as amenity kits featuring skincare products and travel essentials.

The products have been designed in partnership with Canadian company Hunter Amenities as well as Sahajan, an award winning female founded skincare company, featuring products like lip balm and hand cream. Air Canada said the products have been designed with comfort and quality in mind as part of its continued investment in the onboard experience.

Sahajan products lined up alongside flowers and leaves in brown bottles, featuring creams, eye drops and cleansers.

Experience enhanced across all classes

The new bedding and amenities will be introduced across Air Canada’s Signature Class cabins, which is its premium Business class for international and select transcontinental flights.

Jacqueline Harkness, managing director, products & services at Air Canada, said the launch reflects the airline’s focus on improving the passenger experience:

“Every element introduced as part of this launch was thoughtfully chosen to help customers settle in, relax and rest throughout their journey.”

The airline said the updates collection complements its wider Signature Class offering, which includes premium dining, airport lounge access and priority services. There are also updates across other classes, with Economy and Premium Economy having an upgraded larger fleece blanket and Premium Economy amenity kit.

The new bedding and amenity products will be entering service this summer, with the rollout continuing across its long haul fleet.

A large triangular window at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Thailand is the main focus of the image, stanning from the centre to the centre right. It appears to be sunset, outside, and a lovely golden hue is visible as the light pours in. There are squared lines across the triangle window, and in the centre left, the lower right corner of another of these windows can be seen. There are chairs underneath the window on the inside, where this picture is taken across the room from, and a cylinder which resembles a bin in near the centre of the image. All of the objects are silhouettes.
