Air Canada has unveiled its next-generation “Glowing Hearted” interior concept as part of a wider onboard upgrade programme.
The new cabins were presented at the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg and are planned for introduction on upcoming aircraft deliveries, including the Airbus A321XLR and the Boeing 787-10.

New cabins to debut on A321XLR and 787-10
The updated interiors are scheduled to debut on the Airbus A321XLR in 2026. The aircraft will feature lie-flat seats in business class, marking the first time Air Canada has offered this seating on a single-aisle aircraft.
A separate premium product is planned for the Boeing 787-10, including new front-row suites designed with additional space and privacy. These suites will include larger beds and seating configurations tailored for passengers travelling together.
Both aircraft types are expected to support future network expansion, including additional transatlantic routes.

Upgrades introduced across all cabins
Across both aircraft, upgrades are set to include larger 4K in-flight entertainment screens, Bluetooth audio connectivity, and power access at every seat.
Economy and premium economy cabins will feature redesigned seating with added space and privacy enhancements. Overhead storage capacity will also increase, alongside updated cabin layouts aimed at improving overall passenger comfort.
The “Glowing Hearted” concept incorporates visual elements inspired by Canada, including lighting and material finishes designed to create a consistent onboard environment.
The new interiors form part of Air Canada’s broader fleet and product investment strategy, with rollout aligned to future aircraft deliveries
