Aircraft Upgrades

After acquiring additional CRJ900NG aircraft in 2024, PSA Airlines have been making use of their maintenance teams by making state of the art upgrades in a bid to enhance passenger experience and align with their 76-seat dual class configuration.

The first to arrive will be Aircraft 639, due to debut in July 2025. President and CEO of PSA Airlines, Dion Flannery, took to LinkedIn to make the announcement and provide some details on what can be expected in these new upgrades:

“It will debut an upgraded interior that includes multitoned seats, new floor proximity lighting plus American Eagle insignia in the galley and entrance areas. These aircraft are also being outfitted with in-seat USB-C and USB-A charging stations in the front of the seat and satellite wi-fi functionality.”

With these changes, PSA aims to enhance its customers’ experience and propel the airline into the future of aviation.

The Future

PSA have also confirmed that they do not expect to stop at Aircraft 639, as they have also confirmed they expect four additional aircraft to enter service by the end of the year, pending final upgrades and finishing touches.

Dion Flannery also highlighted that PSA Airlines intends to continue along this path of growth in the future to remain an important part of American Airlines‘ network:

“The future of our fleet is here, and we are looking forward to the continued investment in our product for our customers.”
