Bristol Airport launches new Ryanair routes and destinations ahead of the 2026 summer season. Route frequencies to popular tourist hotspots will also increase.
Bristol Airport is launching more Ryanair routes ahead of the 2026 summer season, with increased flight frequency across a wide selection of popular destinations.
Ryanair will offer a new route to Bari from its Bristol hub, offering up the beautiful coastal town in Italy for it’s South West passengers.
Popular holiday hotspots for UK summer travellers like Alicante and Malaga, alongside city breaks such as Barcelona and Prague will enhance availability offered to those travelling from Ryanair’s South West hub.
Regular connections will open up selections for summer passengers in Bristol. Commercial Director at Bristol Airport, Rupert Lawrie, celebrates the route launch alongside their frequency increase.
“It’s great news for our customers that Ryanair are launching a new route to the Italian coastal town of Bari, which is sure to become a firm favourite with its beautiful promenade, historic centre and nearby beaches. And with more frequent flights added to other holiday hotspots, there is even more opportunity and greater choice for people to fly from their local airport.”
Ryanair Increases Fight Frequency for Summer Season
Ryanair’s flight frequency increase alongside an additional destination, and 8 more routes, has benefited by their $500 million investment.
This investment is a part of a wide term of modernisation of fleet, destinations, maintenance, and more for Ryanair.

“Ryanair is pleased to launch our Summer 2026 schedule at Bristol, offering 36 routes including an exciting new route to Bari. We will also operate extra frequencies on eight other routes, including popular holiday hotspots like Alicante and Malaga, as well as top city break destinations like Barcelona and Prague.
