The well-known airline Ryanair has launched Ryanair Prime, an annual subscription service that provides significant savings and other incentives to frequent travellers. The yearly cost of about £79 entitles members to several benefits designed to enhance their trips.

Key Benefits of Ryanair Prime

Here are the key benefits of Ryanair Prime:

1. Free Reservation of Seats: Members can reserve seats at no extra cost. During the subscription period, this benefit includes up to 12 complimentary reserved tickets for the member and an extra 12 for their authorised companion. Seat selection is contingent upon availability; if desired seats are not available, a random seat assignment will be used.

2. Travel Insurance: Travel insurance covers all flights operated by the Ryanair Group (Ryanair DAC, Ryanair UK, Buzz, Lauda, and Malta Air) while the subscription is active. Medical emergencies, delayed departures, lost baggage, and airline cancellations due to illness or accidents (apart from COVID-19 and pre-existing medical problems) are all covered by this insurance. Notably, travellers over 70 who are not eligible for medical coverage can still utilise other insurance benefits.

3. Special Monthly Seat Offers: Prime members have access to 12 (1-month each) member-only seat sales, which allow them to book flights at a lower cost than the general public.  Members receive regular emails alerting them of forthcoming deals and promotions.

4. Use by Multiple People: Ryanair Prime users can designate a buddy who can use the majority of the subscription features for an additional fee. All companion reservations, however, must be booked by the Ryanair Prime member using their myRyanair account. The registered email address of the member will receive any correspondence about these reservations.
