Atech is showcasing its latest Air Traffic Management (ATM) and Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) technologies at Airspace World 2026 this week. The company’s presence at the event highlights the aviation industry’s growing focus on digitalisation, interoperability, and the future integration of drones into civil airspace.
Atech Introduces SingleATM and FF-ICE Aligned Systems
Held in Lisbon from May 26 to 28, Airspace World brings together global aviation leaders, air navigation providers, and aerospace companies to discuss the future of airspace management.
One of the centrepieces of Atech’s exhibition is the SingleATM Platform, a next-generation system developed to modernise ATM and UTM operations. Built on an open architecture, the platform allows Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) to host service-based ATM systems while improving interoperability, cybersecurity, and operational resilience.
According to the company, the system can also reduce integration and maintenance costs by streamlining how mission-critical systems are managed.
Atech is also demonstrating its Integrated Flight Plan and Flow Management System (IFPFMS), now aligned with FF-ICE/R1 standards. The solution combines flight plan validation, AIS authorisations, and Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM) support into one operational platform.
The FF-ICE integration is designed to help aviation stakeholders prepare for trajectory-based operations and the next generation of collaborative air traffic management.
Marcos Resende, ATM Business Director at Atech, said the company aims to support ANSPs facing increasing modernisation challenges.
“Our goal is to provide the technologies that enable a safer, more efficient, and integrated future for air navigation,” he said.
Drone Traffic Management and Smart City Integration
Alongside its ATM technologies, Atech is presenting its UTM Platform, focused on safely integrating drones into civil airspace. The platform connects drone operators, regulators, and operational stakeholders within a secure digital ecosystem.
The company says the solution is designed to support urban drone applications and prepare cities for the future of advanced air mobility and smart city infrastructure.
During the event, Atech ATM Business Developer Edson Fagundes will also deliver a presentation titled “FF-ICE: Are you ready for 2034?”, discussing how aviation stakeholders can adapt to future flight plan management requirements.
