Air Canada strengthens landline connection between Toronto Pearson and Kitchener-Waterloo

Air Canada announces a rise in the frequency of landline services between its hub Toronto Pearson International Airport and Kitchener-Waterloo International Airport. From 1 December, the landline service will increase their run to 10 times a day from a previous five times a day.

Air Canada prioritise customer comfort

Air Canada is the flag carrier of Canada. The airline has been flying to more than 180 airports across six continents.

More than 40 million passengers has benefitted from the airline services in the last year. People from all over the country have been using the airline to travel internationally. They also hold a four-star ranking from Skytrax. The four-star ranked airline has been running landline services from Toronto Pearson to other airports in the country for various customer connections.

To give convenient options for their customers, the airlines has announced to increase the landline service between Toronto Pearson and the Region of Waterloo international airport. They doubled the service frequency to 10 times a day from five times a day.

Ranbir Singh, Director, Regional Airlines and Market at Air Canada said:

“We have been very satisfied with the response from the Kitchener-Waterloo Region to Air Canada’s innovative, multi-modal service. Customers are finding the comfort, convenience and reliability of Landline and its luxury motor coaches very compelling. With the service growing in popularity, we are doubling the frequencies to 10 daily, which will give customers even better, one-stop connectivity between the Region of Waterloo International Airport and key destinations we serve from Toronto Pearson, such as Vancouver, Tokyo, Halifax, San Francisco, and hundreds more”

Luxury coach and its daily schedule

The luxury coaches used by the airline are made by the coach manufacturer based in Quebec, Prevost. They have 36 seats with free WI-FI, power, a table tray for each seat with overhead storage and onboard lavatory.

The updated schedule of the landline service between Toronto Pearson (YYZ) and Kitchener-Waterloo (YKF) is as follows:

The first coach from YKF will departs at 5:30am and next coaches are at 6:30am, 9:25am, 11:15am, 1:15pm, 2:10pm. 4:00pm, 5:35pm, 6:55pm and 8:25pm respectively.

Similarly, the first coach from YYZ will departs at 7:00am and the next coaches are 8:00am, 11:40am, 12:45pm, 2:40pm, 3:40pm, 5:20pm, 7:05pm, 8:35pm and 10:15pm respectively.

This coach will run seven days a week and the approximate travel time is between 65 mins and 70 mins.This will come into effect from the start of December.
