Aeromexico Tops Global On-Time Rankings in Cirium’s July 2025 Report

Cirium recently released report to reveal the on-time performance of global airlines of July 2025.

Global Airlines in Punctuality Revealed

Globally, Aeromexico became the most punctual airline with 89.81% of flights reached destination on time.

Azul ranked second, which secured 87.85% punctuality score, followed by Saudia with 87.57%.

Qatar Airways and LATAM Airlines also performed excellently in the previous month.

Qatar Airways took the fourth spot with 85.79% flights on-time.

LATAM Airlines, which secured the fifth spot with 82.08% punctuality score.

Apart from the airlines’ performance, Bengaluru Kempegowda International Airport performed as the most on-time large airport globally last month.

92.35% of flights departed from the airport on-time, followed by Chennai International Airport.

European Airlines Show Mixed Performance Amid Rising Cancellations

In Europe, Icelandair reached 81.46% of flights on time and crowned as the most on-time airline in Europe in July.

SAS, with 81.07% of all flights arriving on-time, took the second place.

Turkish Airlines, Finnair and Iberia also secured the top five position, with over 75% of flights reached destination on time.

Notably, Europe flight cancellation rate risen by 29.51% in June, with 10,640 cancelled flights compared to 8,215 in June

There is no UK airline was featured in the top ten.

How Cirium Measures On-Time Performance?

Cirium defined an on-time flight as one that arrived within 15 minutes of its scheduled arrival time at its destination airport.

In the Global Airlines category, Cirium only included the top 10% of all passenger airlines by capacity, with services operate across at least three regions.

For the European Airlines category, the report only included the top 30% of all passenger airlines by capacity.
