Air France Foundation’s annual program supports over 66,000 young people

The Air France Foundation is increasing its overall commitment to children and young people throughout 2026-2027 via a programme linked to 44 global non-profit organisations. As the programme will be approved by Air France Foundation’s Board of Directors, it has a strong purpose working with more than 66,000 recipients facing poverty and is based on ethical criteria.

Air France Foundation’s projects to help young people

Air France Foundation has implemented poverty alleviation projects across four continents: Africa, Asia, Europe and South America. These initiatives share strong social concerns surrounding the sustainable improvement of young recipients lives, through awareness of local lived realities.

Air France Foundation also operates a grant program. Projects and partnerships are chosen based on a detailed process including long-term success and viability. Those projects assessed as the most viable are chosen for grant funding. Every new application is evaluated against Air France’s ethical criteria.

The foundation works in countries where Air France operates in an organisational capacity and where it can gain local support through Air France teams. The involvement of Air France teams allows the foundation to create close partnerships with its allies and monitor the progress of causes its endorses.

Air France Foundations gains support from employees

In 2026, the foundation started Boost ton Asso! This campaign was an internal call for projects designed to support Air France employees’ engagement with non-profit work. Over 100 applications were accepted according to the first round, creating a supportive atmosphere for employees at Air France.

Each application is analysed by the foundation based on assessment metrics including potential for success. Of the six selected projects, one of them is Mekong Plus, a nonprofit organization tackling poverty in Vietnam by supporting education and raising living standards.
