Qatar Airways Increases Global Network To Over 170 Destinations

In terms of destinations, the 2026-2027 winter schedule highlights demand for global travel throughout Qatar Airways’ network. This network spans six continents and major cities that act as economic and social hubs in their respective areas. This emphasis on the global network can be demonstrated by flights to and from African hubs like Johannesburg (JNB), Seychelles (SEY), and Zanzibar (ZNZ).

For North America, Qatar Airways will add more services to Montréal (YUL), Canada, from five flights per week to seven flights per week from Oct. 25, 2026. This demonstrates an impressive 40% boost in seat capacity, again highlighting the importance of meeting customer demand.

All of this is complemented by further flights in Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Middle East which are closer markets to Qatar Airways’ main hub at Hamad International Airport (DOH). On Oct. 25, 2026, Qatar Airways service to Phuket (HKT), Thailand, will increase from 14 to 21 flights per week. This also includes more flights to Malé (MLE), in the Maldives, offering more choice to adventurous tourists.

In Europe, Qatar Airways will improve its focus on key European cities as part of its global network and commitment to both business and leisure travellers. Qatar Airways is also focused on flights throughout the Middle East, with flights per day rising by 10% during the winter, and four route resumptions announced for Saudi Arabian passengers.
