Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer delivered 65 aircraft during the second quarter of 2026, marking its strongest second quarter performance in 16 years. The total represents a 48% increase compared with the first quarter of the year and a 7% rise year on year, bringing first half deliveries to 109 aircraft.

Executive jets drive delivery growth
Executive Aviation accounted for the largest share of deliveries, with 45 aircraft handed over during the quarter. These included 24 light jets and 21 midsize jets. Commercial Aviation delivered 20 aircraft, comprising of E175, E190-E2 and E195-E2. This represented a 100% increase from the previous quarter. There were no deliveries in Defence and Security during this quarter, compared to five last quarter.

Commercial business continues to grow
The latest figures come as Embraer continues to grow its commercial aircraft business, with the manufacturer maintaining its 2026 delivery guidance of between 80 and 85 commercial aircraft and 160 to 170 executive jets.
The company has also strengthened its order book this year. In June, leasing company Azorra placed an order for 15 additional E195-E2, taking the E2 programme beyond 500 total orders and reinforcing demand for Embraer’s latest regional jets.
The latest results show a solid start to the year with the company’s strongest second quarter delivery performance in 16 years, highlighting continued momentum across three of its aviation business segments.
