The new base at McKinney National Airport will be served by Avelo’s 184-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft, bringing affordable, nonstop travel options closer to residents in Collin County and the wider North Dallas area.

The inaugural routes include:

  • Las Vegas (LAS)
  • Fort Lauderdale (FLL)
  • Fort Myers (RSW)
  • Orlando (MCO)
  • Tampa (TPA)

To celebrate the launch, Avelo is offering introductory one-way fares from $99, with bookings made through July also receiving one free checked bag.

Over 100 jobs created as Avelo expands in Texas

The new McKinney operation represents another milestone in Avelo‘s continued growth across the United States. As a Texas-founded airline, the carrier says the new base strengthens its commitment to serving one of the country’s fastest-growing regions.

Avelo Airlines Founder and CEO Andrew Levy said:

“Avelo was built for moments like this, and we are thrilled to be the launch and anchor airline at McKinney. Our everyday low fares, the ease of using DTX, and our consistent industry-leading on-time performance are a winning combination for travellers.”

He added that the airline is excited to expand its presence in North Texas and provide travellers with more convenient and affordable flying options.

Passengers can book flights now via the airline’s website ahead of services beginning in November.
