Ryanair is scheduled to launch a new route departing from Glasgow Prestwick Airport (PIK) in late 2026. The destination will leave the Glaswegian airport and fly towards Turin, Italy.

About Ryanair
Ryanair is the most famous ultra-low-cost airline within Europe, being the largest passenger carrying airline in the continent. The Irish carrier has a volume of around 200 million flyers per year, establishing as the third largest airline in the world, after American Airlines and Delta Air Lines.
Founded in 1985, the Dublin based carrier has the biggest fleet across the European continent. Its fleet consists mostly of B737-800 and B737 MAX, having over 640 aircraft. By 2034, Ryanair is expected to receive 300 new B737 MAX 10, allowing for a 21% growth in its passenger carrying capacity.
The airline’s network is extensive and diverse. It flies to over 234 destinations in three global regions, Africa, Middle East and Europe. It serves five domestic routes and 229 international ones, with over 3,500 daily flights. Italy tops the chart of most served country, followed by France and Spain.

The New Route
The new service from Prestwick Airport to Turin is scheduled to commence on Dec. 12, 2026. The route will depart and arrive on Saturday every week, and will occur throughout the entirety of winter, which is when the destination is highly sought by tourists and families traveling back and forth.
The ultra-low-cost airline is increasing frequency in its main sought summer destinations, which will depart from the Glaswegian. The services include:
- Pisa, Italy.
- Malaga, Palma de Mallorca, Lanzarote, Tenerife and Mucia, Spain.
- Alicante and Faro, Portugal.
The summer and winter schedule will be operated by Ryanair’s two Prestwick-based aircraft, most likely a B737-800 or B737 MAX.
