Strategic Partnership, Increased Ties

As part of the nation’s act to strengthen connections with the United States, the relaunch of a direct Bahrain-U.S. flight serves a significant purpose in showing the country’s ambitions to capture economic opportunities and strengthen bonds between the two nations.

This new route was first announced a few months back in July, and is now officially launched as a route that operates 3 times a week.

H.E. Ms Sara Ahmed Buhejji, CEO of Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, said in her remarks during the event that this direct route launch “marks a qualitative leap that reflects Bahrain’s growing stature on the global tourism map and opens broader prospects for strengthening ties with the U.S. market,” aligning with the country’s tourism strategy.

This event marks the official start of this direct route, which is hoped to bring about sustained strategic cooperation between Bahrain and the U.S.
