British Airways Updates Suspensions of Middle Eastern Operations

Ongoing airspace closure in the Middle East region has left British Airways updating its travel operations to Dubai, Doha, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Amman, and Tel Aviv.

Passengers scheduled to depart for these destinations will be unable to do so due to unsafe airspace and suspended services across these routes.

Customers and colleagues of British Airways remain in regular contact with the airline to prioritise their safety and travel arrangements when it is safe to do so.

Those travelling with British Airways from Oman, which now has an open airspace, will be able to depart on a flight from Muscat to London at 02:30 local time after the airline’s continued efforts with local authorities to provide safe travel.

Flight Cancellations Across Middle Eastern Operations

Passengers due to depart to Abu Dhabi, Amman, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai or Tel Aviv from London Heathrow up to Mar. 15 will be able to change their flights free of charge to travel on or before Mar. 29.

British Airways said a number of flights across the region will be cancelled and customers are urged to check their flight status regularly if due to travel.

More updates will follow as operations commence.
