New US-based airline, Magnifica Air, unveiled the first of four aircraft to join its fleet. Set to begin operations in 2027, the Airbus ACJ321neo will be the first aircraft in the fleet that will be exclusively for the airline’s “Private Class” cabin category for launch service.

What is Magnifica Air?

Magnifica Air is a Florida-based luxury airline start-up that was founded in 2025 by Wade Black and Stacey Carey. Operations are set to launch in 2027 and it will offer “private jet-style” travel on scheduled routes between major cities such as New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. South Florida to New York will be the inaugural route.

Stacey Carey, co-founder, stated:

“When you walk onto our planes, they will feel like a private jet,”

The “Private Class” service, will feature a high-end experience with 45–54 seats, including 2–4 private suites, a bar area, and lie-flat leather seats. It will also feature private terminal access, 30-minute pre-departure arrival, and it specialised in-cabin wellness.

The airline is using two Pratt & Whitney PW1133 geared turbofan engines that are capable of running on Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). This engine series has improved fuel efficiency, reduced noise footprint, and lower emissions compared with previous-generation narrowbodies.

The Fleet and Operations

At Orlando International Airport, Magnifica Air’s new livery was revealed. The first of four aircraft was revealed to be Airbus ACJ321neo which is configured to carry 54 passengers. The aircraft are currently undergoing certification and a 10-month interior completion phase, during which the new Private Class cabins will be fitted.

Kevin Ketterer, vice president of Technical Operations at Magnifica Air, stated:

“The arrival of our first ACJ321neo is a defining operational milestone. It enables the launch of our maintenance and reliability programs, integrating predictive technologies and dedicated support services designed to deliver the level of consistency expected from a new cabin category.”

Magnifica Air has previously outlined plans for a fleet of four aircraft for launch, with additional Airbus A220 and A321neo variants. These aircraft are expected to follow as part of the airline’s broader growth strategy.

The airline aims to provide a “fully private”, seamless experience that is more accessible than full private jet charter, and its goal is to operate some of the greenest jets in the segment.
