airBaltic Announces Traffic Figure Results with Passenger Increase

The Latvian airline announced that it carried over 338,000 passengers across all of its bases in Jan. 2026, reporting a 3% increase in passenger load compared to the previous year’s results.

The airline recorded its highest passenger performance ever, operating even more flights, with a 5.2% annual increase.With over 3,500 flights operated by airBaltic across all bases, customer satisfaction peaked whilst their results soared.

Last year, airBaltic transported 5.2 million passengers across all of its operating destinations, marking the company’s highest-ever passenger count. Whilst flying 47,600 aircraft across its bases, the airline continues to increase its figures each year.

Decreased Load Factor and New Destinations for airBaltic

Compared with its passenger increase, the airline reported that its load factor decreased by 2.7 per cent, which outpaced passenger growth in a traditionally low season.

The figure dropped to 72.7%, reflecting general price adjustments across all sectors and capacity increases. The Airline Continues to grow its presence in the aviation industry and has recently announced 14 new destinations to boost passenger growth.
