American Airlines recognises nine flight attendants as ‘Champions Of The Year’ for their dedication to fundraising for UNICEF’s ‘Change For Good’ program.

American Airlines Recognises Outstanding Fundraising Commitments
Going above and beyond with their dedication to raising money in both U.S currency and Foreign currency, nine flight attendants in the company have been recognised as ‘Champions of The Year’ by the airline for their outstanding fundraising efforts.
Collection money from donating customers, and Hawaii flights, the airline and passengers have raised over $18million since UNICEF’s program launch in 1994. These efforts have provided children in need with healthcare, safety, education and more.
The program partners UNICEF and the aviation industry with several airlines funding children in need. The campaign works by converting unused currency from customers around the world and transforms coins and notes into life-saving materials.

‘Contributing To A Better Future’ With Fundraising Efforts
Converting unused currency and fundraising for the program, nine flight attendants at American Airlines, and it’s fantastic customers have provided children in need with a variety of necessities including;
- Vaccines and basic medications to fight off illness and deadly viruses
- Providing nutritional support, food, and drink to battle malnutrition
- Clean and sanitised water stations, including safe facilities for communities in need
- Safe education and spaces to make learning fun
- Rapid emergency response against natural disaster.
