Ryanair reminds customers that physical copies, those printed at home or elsewhere, will no longer be accepted when boarding, as the airline recently announced its switch to a digital future.
The modernisation of boarding passes means that paper copies will be useless upon departure, and passengers must scan a digital copy. These will be available to access via Ryanair’s flight app.
Nearly 80% of Ryanair passengers have already adopted the digital future, which will offer seamless connectivity in travel.
“We are now just a little less than a week out from our move to 100% digital boarding passes, meaning that from Wednesday, 12 November, passengers will no longer be able to download and print a physical paper boarding pass but will instead need to use the digital boarding pass generated in their “myRyanair” app during check-in to board their Ryanair flight.” shares CMO, Dara Brady

The ‘myRyanair’ app released by the airline will offer features such as ordering food and drink directly to your seat in flight, live flight information including cancellations, delays, and departures, direct updates for disruptions, alternative flight arrangements during disruptions, and accessible travel documents.
