On August 21, 2025, British Airways announced its new schedule for the summer of 2026. The airline is set to upgrade its flights to long-haul destinations like Bangkok, Jamaica, Miami and Dallas, Las Vegas, San Diego and Austin, New York, the Middle East,
Meanwhile, British Airways had recently added short-haul destinations for winter 2025. These destinations included Rabat in Morocco and Graz in Austria.

Destinations for your next summer getaway with British Airways
These flights are set to operate from London Heathrow and Gatwick as British Airways is set to offer new destinations. British Airways is offering its customers more choices and flexibility for their next summer getaway.
Bangkok
British Airways is set to start operations for its year-round flights from London Gatwick to Bangkok next year, upgrading from its popular winter schedule.
This route will operate six weekly flights to and from Bangkok during the winter season and three weekly flights during the summer.
A year-round schedule was added to meet the growing demands for travel to Southeast Asia.
Jamaica
British Airways added a weekly service to Kingston, Jamaica, from London Gatwick. It is set to operate four flights per week for the summer 2026 season.
In addition to this, the Jamaican Tourist Board has announced that the island is preparing to welcome tourist arrivals by March 31, 2026. Alongside this, British Airways is adding over 300 seats weekly for its customers travelling between Jamaica and London.
Miami and Dallas
British Airways will be reintroducing its services from London Heathrow to Miami International Airport.
In addition to this, the airline will also introduce its daily service to Dallas-Fort Worth.
Las Vegas
The airline has upgraded its services from Heathrow to Las Vegas from flights per week, providing customers with a variety of choices and flexibility.
San Diego and Austin
British Airways increased its number of flight services to 14 times per week, offering its customers more choices.
New York
New York (JFK) will also operate from London Heathrow, improving the connectivity for travellers to Europe and the US.
The airline will be operating nine flights from Heathrow to New York on its 770-200 fleet.
Middle east
The new addition to the operation routes of British Airways also includes the Middle East. Bahrain and Heathrow will have daily services, doubling the number of times it flies there per week.
In addition to this, British Airways will also operate its flights to Doha 14 times per week.
British Airways’ Chief Planning and Stratergy Officer, Neil Chernoff said, “We’re delighted to expand our long-haul network from London Heathrow and Gatwick next summer, adding more services to some of our most-loved destinations.
