Hawaiian Airlines has added further flights to its Winter 2025-2026 schedule to meet strong seasonal demand for flights between Honolulu, Hawaii’s capital, and Los Angeles, Seattle and Sydney. It is also introducing the Boeing 787 Dreamliner on flights between Seattle and Tokyo’s Narita Airport (NRT).

Hawaiian Airlines Keeping Up with Demand

The following destinations will recieve additional flights during Winter 2025-2026, in order to keep up with the peak of seasonal demand for routes to and from Hawaii:

  • Honolulu, HI (HNL) — Los Angeles, CA (LAX): a fifth daily flight operated by an Airbus A321neo will be added between November 21, 2025 – December 1, 2025 and December 19, 2025 – January 6, 2026.
  • Honolulu, HI (HNL) — Seattle, WA (SEA): a fourth daily widebody flight will be added between late November 2025 and mid-April 2026, replacing an existing A321neo service. The new schedule will include six daily flights, with two operated by Alaska Airlines.
  • Honolulu, HI (HNL) — Sydney, NSW (SYD): flights will increase from five times per week to daily between HNL and SYD between December 18, 2025 and Jan 31, 2026, the peak travel season between Hawaii and Australia.

New and Improved Seattle – Tokyo Service with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner

Kirsten Amrine, Vice President of Revenue Management and Network Planning at Alaska Airlines, said the following regarding the improved schedule:

“We’re excited to offer our guests more options to connect with loved ones or enjoy a warm winter getaway. These schedule enhancements reflect our commitment to providing convenient, comfortable travel during the busiest travel period of the year.”

Hawaiian Airlines is also making changes to its route between Seattle and Tokyo Narita (NRT) in Japan; from early January to mid-April 2026, the airline will begin replacing the Airbus A330 with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner on these services. The Dreamliner will offer Hawaiian Airlines’ new Leihōkū Suites, which come with lie-flat seating, enhanced privacy and direct aisle access. The Dreamliner also has quieter cabins, larger windows and an advanced in-flight entertainment system, in order to provide a greater quality, more restful journey for customers travelling across the Pacific.

Customers can book flights now and view the full, newly improved schedule on the Hawaiian Airlines website. Together with Alaska Airlines, which acquired Hawaiian in 2024, passengers can connect to more than 140 destinations throughout North America, Latin America, Asia and the Pacific.
