Ryanair has announced four new routes from Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA). This is part of 29 new routes taking place in summer 2027.

Four new routes from LBA
The four new routes include Bari, Budapest, Tirana, and Corfu. Bari provides a getaway to a southern Italian town, Budapest offers an Eastern European experience, Tirana gives access to the capital of Albania and Corfu gives a Greek island summer holiday. Bookings to the new routes are available through Ryanair’s website or app.
The new routes are part of a bigger plan to expand its European network. Ryanair plans to operate more than 2,500 routes across a network of 230 destinations. More destinations are to be announced.
Ryanair is popular among travellers as a low-cost travel option. Ryanair CMO, Dara Brady, said:
“Ryanair is pleased to launch the first 29 new routes of what is set to be a bumper summer 2027 schedule, giving our cost-savvy customers an early opportunity to start planning next year’s getaways.”

Growing European Network
Ryanair is a fast-growing low cost carrier (LCC) originating from Ireland. It has carried over 18 million passengers through LBA since 1989. It has invested over $300 million in aircraft and provided customers in Yorkshire with a low-cost fare option.
According to BBC, Ryanair is aiming to grow passenger numbers to 300 million by 2034 with its new 300 Boeing 737 Max 10 planes. These new routes are part of its expansion of Europe’s largest route network.
