Ryanair has unveiled its Summer 2026 schedule from Cardiff Airport (CWL), announcing five new routes and additional frequencies on four of its most popular services.

Extra Frequencies on Popular Routes

The airline will operate flights from CWL to Alicante (ALC), Faro (FAO), Malaga (AGP), Tenerife (TFS) and Dublin (DUB), strengthening links between Wales and key holiday and city-break destinations. Fares start from £29.99 and are available to book via the Ryanair app.

For Summer 2026, Ryanair will increase frequencies on routes to ALC, DUB, FAO and AGP, offering Welsh passengers greater flexibility during peak travel months.

DUB will operate daily throughout the summer, with twice-daily services on selected days in October 2026. The route remains popular with both leisure and business travellers, providing an important connection between Ireland and Wales.

Jade Kirwan, Ryanair’s director of communications, said the expanded schedule demonstrates the airline’s continued commitment to the Welsh market.

“Ryanair is pleased to launch our Summer 2026 schedule at Cardiff, offering five routes with extra frequencies on four of these routes. This provides Welsh customers with even more low-fare choice and regular connections for their summer getaways,” she said.

Boost for Welsh Connectivity

Cardiff Airport CEO Jon Bridge welcomed the announcement, describing the strengthened DUB service as a vital economic link:

“This is a hugely popular route, particularly for business travellers, providing a gateway between our Celtic nations.”

Bridge added that routes to ALC, FAO, AGP and TFS offer strong options for holidaymakers while supporting inbound tourism and regional growth.

The expansion reflects sustained demand for low-cost travel from CWL, as airlines continue rebuilding capacity and adding frequency on established European routes.

Ryanair’s full Summer 2026 schedule from CWL is available to book, with promotional fares starting at £29.99.
