Qatar Airways has officially extended its partnership with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) until 2028. This move sets a strong precedent for both entities and reflects their shared commitment to aviation, soccer fans, sports, and lifestyle.

Skytrax recently named Qatar Airways the world’s best airline for 2024, marking its eighth victory over time in this category. The airline also received titles for ‘World’s Best Business Class’ and ‘Best Airline in the Middle East’. Notable for its sustainability efforts, Qatar Airways is the first Middle Eastern airline to earn the top certification from its Environmental Assessment program. The airline operates primarily from Hamad International Airport in Doha, which has garnered accolades as the ‘World’s Best Airport’ multiple times, connecting travellers to over 170 destinations.

An Iconic Football Club 

Founded in 1970, PSG is France’s top sports club and a global cultural icon. Owned by Qatar Sports Investments since 2011, the club has diversified its focus into various sports and even attracted investments from U.S. firm Arctos Partners for future growth. With over 220 million social media followers, the club is deeply intertwined with sports, fashion, and entertainment, collaborating with brands like Jordan. It also opened the Paris Saint-Germain Campus in 2024, a premier training facility for athletes. Beyond sports, it actively supports disadvantaged youth through its PSG for Communities program, focusing on education and inclusion.

An Important Partnership 

PSG plays a vital role in Qatar Airways’ sponsorship strategy, linking the airline to millions of soccer fans. The airline offers exclusive experiences for Privilege Club members, including special travel packages for PSG matches in Paris. Recently, PSG hosted its first-ever virtual press conference aboard its flight at 35,000 feet, just before winning the French Cup in Doha.

The airline’s innovative partnership with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) strengthens global connections between teams and soccer fans, with plans for more engaging initiatives that blend PSG’s spirit with Qatar Airways” exceptional services. They also aim to collectively launch global campaigns, creating memorable moments and highlighting their exciting collaboration alongside FIFA, Formula 1, and other sports ventures.
