Qatar Airways Adds 13th Destination

Marked as the 13th destination in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar Airways has launched flights between Hamad International Airport (DOH) in Qatar and Hail International Airport (HAS), with this new route working towards the airline’s goal of expansion.

With this addition, over 150 weekly flights are now in operations, including Abha, AlUla, Dammam, Jeddah, Medina, NEOM, Qassim, Riyadh, Tabuk, Taif, The Red Sea, and Yanbu. The airline may continue to add other destinations in it’s pursuit of servicing from Africa, the Indian Subcontinent, the Middle East and Southeast Asia to the north-central region of Saudi Arabia,

Qatar Airlines has announced that flights will be departing every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. From Hamad International Airport (DOH), departure is set to 14:20 local time and arrival 16:30, whilst departure time from Hail International Airport (HAS) is scheduled at 17:30, with arrival at 19:25.

More on the Hail Province and Qatar Airways

The airline, voted the ‘World’s Best Airline’ by Skytrax in 2025 and connecting to more than 170 destinations globally, considers the Hail Province a key location to fly to and from. From beautiful desert landscapes to a deep and rich cultural history, it is a hotspot for travellers, as well as home to United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) World Heritage Sites.

Additionally, when flying from Hamad International Airport, members of the Qatar Airways Privilege Club can shop and dine at Qatar Duty Free, using the Avios they collect on their flights. This loyalty points currency can also be used on travel and lifestyle rewards, such as bidding on experiences within the Privilege Club Collection.

As a multiple award-winning airline, it can be anticipated that other locations will be introduced in Qatar Airways continued growth.
