East and Africa.

Who is Emrecan Ergin?
Since 2023, Emrecan has a leadership portfolio across Turkey and Hungary as Area General Manager. He drives growth and scales operations within global airport hospitality contexts. He has successfully laid a foundation for elevating guest experiences across key regions since joining the Group in 2020. He has also led multi-market portfolios and operational teams, helping the Group achieve greater success.
From the regional headquarters in Riyadh, Emrecan will be overseeing the Group’s operations and planning throughout the Middle East and Africa. He will drive innovation in service delivery, strengthen multi-unit management, and build strong partnerships with airports and hospitality stakeholders. He will also maintain the Group’s market position alongside promoting exceptional guest experience.

Emrecan holds a Master’s degree from Chalmers University of Technology and study experiences at prestigious institutions. With strong technical and academic knowledge, he leads the global hospitality industry with his analytical lens and strategic leadership. He gained experience in the aviation and retail sectors through roles in business development and strategic planning prior to joining PPG.
